At 7:00 AM:
My name is _________, and I’m an alcoholic. May we start this meeting with a moment of silence, followed by the Serenity Prayer?
Hello everyone. Welcome to the Good Morning Group’s ZOOM meeting of AA.
I am going to mute everyone’s microphone now. If you would like to speak, please click the icon that says “more”. Then, you can choose the option to “raise your hand” and the meeting leader will recognize you.
Are there any AA related announcements?
Are there any Non-AA related announcements?
AA Preamble: Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.
Is there anyone here attending their first ZOOM GMG meeting? Welcome!
Please be considerate of others and give them the opportunity to share by keeping your share brief and limited to 3 minutes. Please address your comments to the meeting leader. This group welcomes newcomers and encourages them to share.
Please refrain from profanity, disruptive behavior, side talk, or cross talk of any kind. In order to respect those that are sharing, we ask that you refrain from using the Zoom chat feature to send messages to the entire group (everyone) during the meeting. The meeting room will be open every day 30 minutes before the meeting and 15 minutes after to allow for fellowship and conversations.
